The Woodland forensics program is in its fifth year. In that time, it has regularly placed among the top teams in middle Tennessee. Since fall ’06, it has yet to be defeated in the regular season.

Coach - Jim Jenkins:                                     Mr. Jenkins is in his second year of coaching the forensics team at Woodland Middle School. He previously coached at Brentwood Academy and competed in forensics himself for eight years.

Co-Captain – Savannah Marquardt:            Savannah is an eigth grader who has been on the forensics team since sixth grade and also looooooves acting, singing, dancing, and all things artsy!  She also loves all things sparkly and everything that has to do with Broadway!   

Co-Captain – Casey Rasmussen:                Casey is an eigth grader who loves dancing, singing, and acting.  She has                   been in forensics for two years.  She has been in both plays at Woodland Middle, and hopes to be in the next one. Casey is also a One Act Play director, and loves it so much! Go Forensics!  

Secretary – Becca Hamilton:                        Becca is an eight grader who has been on the forensics team since sixth grade.  She loves acting, singing, dancing, and all things to do with performing.   Becca hearts forensics!!!!!!!!    Yeah!!!!!!!!!

Treasurer – Deya Maldas:                           Deya is an eight grader who has been on the forensics team since sixth grade. She loves singing, acting, and dancing. She is crazy about musicals and Broadway.       

Funkmastah – Helen Wu:                              Helen is currently an eighth grader and is currently and permanently the funkiest person this century has seen. She simply adores acting and singing (that’s right she can’t and doesn’t dance.) She loves alternative rock music. So overall she is just pretty amazing. It is ok to be jealous. =]

One Act Director- Celina Stewart:               Celina is sooo excited about being on the team again and getting to work with such talented people in the One Act. She loves singing, acting and anything that has to do with performing.  She also loves public speaking, and has no inhibitions!!!!
